Types of Extensions:
Hand-Tied Extensions
Our most popular extensions! Hand-tied extensions do less damage and hide seamlessly! The hand-tied hair is sewn by hand to create the thinnest weft-size possible. Because of the unique beading method we use to install them, there is no glue, tape or damaging adhesives needed. You can get length and volume, all while blending seamlessly to your natural hair and texture.
Aqua Hair Clip-In Extensions
If you are on-board for longer, fuller hair, but don’t want the commitment of attached extensions, the Clip-In Extensions by Aqua are another way to go. Also made from 100% Remy human hair, you can have the quality of great hair with the convenience of doing it whenever you want. They take minutes to self-install (once cut and colored by our Artist to fit your hair length), and seconds to take out. This is a low-maintenance option to have amazing hair at your own leisure.
The Band™ by Hotheads®
Growing out your hair can be a process, so what if you want to have long, full hair right now – without having to come into the salon for extension installations? Made from 100% Remy Human Hair, The Bandâ„¢ is a halo-like hair extension that lays naturally on the head for a flawlessly blended look. With The Bandâ„¢, you can have full and luxurious hair in under 5 minutes. The Bandâ„¢ instantly pumps up the volume and maximizes length for a gorgeous head of extensions, giving you added volume and effortless style anytime. It comes with a stretchable elastic weft but does not include any hooks, making it comfortable to wear all the time.Â

Aqua® Tape-Ins
Aqua® Tape-In Hair Extensions are adhesive weft extensions that are applied without the need for tools or heat to create longer, fuller hair. All hair is laid in the same direction with the cuticle perfectly aligned and intact, providing an extension that mimics your natural hair, laying seamless and undetectable. Made from 100% Remy Human Hair, these extensions are able to be reapplied up to 3 times and last between 8-10 weeks of wear from each application.

- Applied in less than 1 hour, saving time and money
- Application may last 8-10 weeks
- Extensions can be reapplied up to 3 times for up to 8 months of wear

Policies:
CONSULTATIONS: A $25 non-refundable consultation fee is required at the time of appointment. If a service appointment is not necessary, this fee is used for the time spent at your consultation.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Your appointments are very important to us, and we understand that sometimes life happens! As a courtesy to our Kontempo. guests and stylists, a 48 hour cancellation call/text and/or email is required to avoid a $40 charge to your account. All future appointment requests will be held until the cancellation fee is paid in salon or over the phone. All financial information will be confidential and processed by a managing associate.
RETURN POLICY: Exchanges or salon account credits may be redeemed with product, as we do not provide cash or credit refunds. Kontempo. proudly stands behind our products and tools. We guarantee them in accordance with the warranty provided by the manufacturer and will exchange product within 30 days of purchase for product that are 75% unused and in their original container. All product, tools, and service exchanges and/or refunds are at the discretion of the managing associate.
REDO POLICY: We take pride in our work and we are committed to complete client satisfaction. In the event that you are not satisfied with your service, please contact the salon within 72 hours of the original appointment to schedule a complimentary redo. The redo appointment must be scheduled with the same stylist, pending their availability. If the allotted time has passed, a new service charge will be applied. Our redo policy does not cover a style or color change from the original service and we do not offer refunds.
NEW CLIENT CHEMICAL SERVICES: Kontempo. welcomes new clients looking for quality hair services. All chemical services for NEW CLIENTS requires a $75 deposit for the first appointment. Deposits will be applied to the services charged on the day of the appointment. In the event that you are not able to make the original appointment, you will have 48 hours to reschedule with your stylist, pending their availability. If your appointment is not rescheduled in the given time, your deposit is non-refundable, and will not be applied to future appointments. All financial information will be confidential and processed by a managing associate.
LOSS OR DAMAGES: While a guest at Kontempo., our clients assume and bear the entire risk of loss, theft, damage or destruction of personal property, including, but not limited to jewelry, clothing, purses or shoes. In the event this happens, Kontempo. Is not liable and cannot be held accountable, clients assume risk and responsibility. Basically, color flies and earrings fall down the sink. Don’t let this happen to you!
TIME ALLOTMENT: Your time is important to us here at Kontempo., but so is your outcome. While scheduling appointments with our Stylists, please give yourself ample time for us to do our best work. If you need to be out of the chair by a certain time, please consider that in your scheduling time. We reserve the right to deny your time request and reschedule. We want the best for you, so we do not want to have to rush your service – quality is what we strive for.
SALON SCALE: Our salon pricing structure is a la carte. We utilize Salon Scale as a tool to calculate color usage during your visit in addition to labor charges for services performed. This charge will be reflected on your ticket at checkout.
