Kirby V. Keomysay
Founder + Creative Director
As one of Omaha’s most in-demand artists, Kirby’s dedication to style trends is evident in everything he does. His work has been featured in Modern Salon Magazine, BehindTheChair.com and many local publications. Kirby has been in the winner’s circle as Best Colorist for Omaha Magazine’s annual Best of Omaha publication. Adding to his list of achievements, Kirby was chosen by Lilliana Vasquez – style contributor for the TODAY Show and the current co-host on E! News – to style her hair for the Golden Globe Awards. Most recently, Kirby was the master stylist for Sarah Rose Summers, former title holder of Miss Nebraska and Miss USA 2018, for all of her pageants and upkeep throughout both of her reins. Kirby makes it a priority to pass this knowledge and experience onto his team and plans to continue having a positive impact on the Omaha community for years to come.

Kristen Rozmiarek
Master + Lead Makeup Artist
Kristen is our Master and Lead Makeup Artist and has been with Kirby from the beginning. When she’s not creating masterpieces at Kontempo., you can find her watching The Office, walking her hairless cat, Ozzie, or spending time with her highly entertaining daughter. Kristen has done hair backstage at New York Fashion Week and dreams of doing hair or makeup on a movie set one day. When she retires at a beachfront condo in San Diego someday, we can say we knew her when!
RaeAnne
Master Artist
RaeAnne is our Master Artist from Omaha. She loves working out and spending time with her family. She has a sweet little girl and a baby on the way! She dreams of living a simple, happy life. RaeAnne is also our in-house chemist for all things color! She loves the science behind what chemicals get mixed and why. She didn’t ask for this responsibility, but we couldn’t be happier that we have her to answer all of our chemistry questions when we get “mixed up!”

Mandi Cabral
Master Lash Artist
Mandi is the Lash Extensionist at Kontempo. She is also our in-house local expert and when she’s not lashing, you can find her wandering around downtown, listening to live music, or sipping cocktails on a patio. She’s been an esthetician since 2010, but has worked in accounting, a painting school and real estate developments, to name a few. She dreams of one day spending the day at the San Diego Zoo with Mike Tyson – something we would have to get on film!

Emily McAvin
Assistant Manager
Emily is our Assistant Manager, so when you call us to book your appointments, it’s her melodious voice you are hearing! Emily is an Omaha native and loves trying out new restaurants and bars in her hometown. When she’s not taking care of business at Kontempo., you can find her catching up with the “Bravolebs” and daydreaming of one day being a Film Producer.
